Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Nurse Midwife based in Kalispell, MT. The Certified Nurse Midwife will be responsible for providing care to patients throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period. This includes performing assessments, managing prenatal care, guiding patients through labor and delivery, and counseling on family planning and reproductive health. The role also involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide medical care and promote patient well-being.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Midwifery, Maternity, and Family Planning care
- Solid foundation in Medicine and Nursing practices
- Excellent patient counseling and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team environment
- Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery or equivalent, and current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Licensure to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of Montana or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting overall well-being
- Prior experience in women’s health or midwifery services is a plus
