Summer Youth - 2026

DUTIES:

• Performs a variety of maintenance tasks at community building, elder residences and Tribal grounds and facilities.
• Janitorial work
• Operate mowers, and weed eaters
• Painting
• Debris pickup
• Additional duties as assigned by on site supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliability, timeliness, and good people skills
• Ability to understand, and execute written and oral instructions
• Must be willing to perform strenuous tasks outdoors, in all types of weather and varying times of day/week
• Must be willing to learn how to safely operate yard equipment
• Attend workshops/trainings as assigned
• Employment is contingent upon pre-employment background and drug screening.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 14 to 18 years of age on your starting date
• Member of federally recognized Indian tribe
• Current enrollment in Cusick High school or;
• Kalispel Tribal member enrolled in any School
• GPA of 2.0
• If your have any failing grades part of your work day will be summer school.
