Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the parts department
- Responsible for the operations, personnel, marketing and profitability of the department
- Train and manage parts department staff
- Maintain inventory control and order parts as needed
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits
- Work closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure parts availability
- Oversee parts returns, warranties, and core returns
- Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing when necessary
- Track and analyze department performance metrics
- Provide excellent customer service to retail and wholesale parts customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within an automotive dealership is preferred
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dealership software systems
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Maintain stellar attendance
- Professional dress and hygiene
- Valid driver’s license
