Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with discovery drafting and document preparation for various cases.
- Prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Manage legal case files and maintain organized records for easy access.
- Perform data entry tasks related to case management and client information.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court staff.
- Maintain deadlines, manage calendars, and handle scheduling for attorneys.
- 3 years Legal Support Experience. A background in paralegal studies or relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with legal case management software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
