Kaleidoscope provides more than just ABA services to children with Autism and related disorders. Our mission is to educate and empower the BIPOC community regarding the benefits of these services while navigating systems that have historically marginalized these communities. We are dedicated to serving children and families affected by related disorders such as ODD, EBD, PTSD, and ADHD. We advocate for just and fair assessments across institutions, particularly within marginalized communities.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician located in Minneapolis, MN. The Behavioral Health Technician will be responsible for implementing behavioral intervention plans, collecting and recording data on client behavior, and working closely with the supervising behavior analyst. The individual will also assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment and communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Proficiency in Behavioral Intervention techniques
- Background in Psychology and understanding of psychological principles
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent observational and data collection skills
- Empathy and patience in working with children and families
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred
- Experience working with children with Autism and related disorders is a plus
