Job DescriptionThe Sr. Director, Payroll, HR Technology, and People Experience is a strategic and forward-thinking leader responsible for advancing Kaleida Healths workforce capabilities and elevating the employee experience. This role oversees three integrated Centers of Excellence (COEs): Payroll, HR Technology (HRIS & Data analytics), and People Experience. The Sr. Director will lead efforts to build a high-performing, technology-enabled, and people-centered culture aligned with Kaleida Healths mission and strategic priorities.This position requires a collaborative leader who can partner across HR, Finance, IT, clinical and operational leadership, unions, and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and data-driven solutions that strengthen payroll performance, Infor HR implementation, and better employee experience across the enterprise.Education And CredentialsBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree or equivalent advanced credential preferred.Experience10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with demonstrated expertise in at least two of the three focus areas: Payroll, HR Technology, or Employee Experience required. Experience managing teams and large-scale enterprise projects, including vendor partnerships and technology implementations. Proven experience leading transformational HR initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization; healthcare experience preferred. Strategic thinker with a strong systems mindset and ability to translate vision into executable strategies required. Deep expertise in payroll operations, compliance, and workforce pay practices required. Strong understanding of HRIS, payroll systems, and workforce management platforms (e.g., Infor, ADP, Kronos/WFM). High level of data literacy and analytical capability required. Ability to manage risk while driving innovation and continuous improvement required. Strong financial acumen and understanding of payrolls impact on organizational performance required. Ability to lead through complexity, ambiguity, and large-scale change required. Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder engagement skills required.Working Conditions
