Job Description
This Registered Nurse is responsible for providing a high standard of care while utilizing the nursing process and providing nursing leadership and direction to all members of the Emergency Department health care team. This position will collaborate with the ED Nurse Manger, ED Physicians and the Emergency Department Medical Director as needed. This position is also responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care as appropriate for the ages of the patients served and is responsible for maintaining the patient flow through the department upon the patient entering the department through disposition.
Education And Credentials
Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Nursing experience. Must have visual acuity to read computer screens and paperwork. Must have auditory acuity to hear paging system. Must be able to travel to all areas of the campus. Must possess excellent verbal communication and written skills. Must possess ability to deal positively and effectively with conflict and confrontation.
