JOB SUMMARY
Apply knowledge acquired in the classroom to real-world situations to add value to the company. Gain the skills and experience to prepare the student for a successful online sales and content management career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Serve as a member of the Marketing Team by our core values.
- Perform all regular duties associated with working as an intern professionally.
- Responsible for learning about and understanding the Aggieland Outfitters brand
- Responsible for overseeing the communications planner and updating, segmenting, and creating new communication styles.
- Responsible for writing all communications to drive sales while remaining on brand. (Starts but is not limited to emails, texts, PR, vendors, etc.)
- Responsible for proofing all outgoing emails and text messages
- Formulating subject and taglines to increase open rates and click-through rates, resulting in sales
- Analyze results and modify the work through continuous testing to improve performance
- Research ideas for new marketing campaigns
- Participate in meetings with the various departments.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all company employees
- Participate in company-sponsored events and networking opportunities
- Any other tasks that are relevant to the field and needed by the company
KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
- Proficiency in Google is preferred
- Express creativity to attract customer attention
- Proficient in using Klaviyo and Attentive
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently
- Experience working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in marketing, content creation, or sales. No professional experience is required.
