DELIVERY DRIVER and Property Maintenance

JOB SUMMARY

This includes verifying the accuracy of orders and addresses for each delivery, ensuring smooth communication with customers and company staff to guarantee timely deliveries and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining safe vehicle operations, keeping the vehicle clean, and loading/unloading boxes and gift bags. Deliveries are made directly to customers’ homes, businesses, and campuses as part of the assigned routes. Maintaining property maintenance requires non-specialized maintenance abilities.

JOB GUIDELINES

• Serve as a member of the Ecommerce/Operations Team in accordance with our core values.
• Adhere to all guidelines when interacting with customers, both in person, via text, email or phone call.
• Ensure all planned deliveries are completed on time, to the correct customer, and to the customers satisfaction in a professional manner.
• Be very strict on time management as far as time it takes to deliver locals, using google maps to get the best routes to take and taking pictures of the order slip after every locals is delivered for paper trail 
• Ability to follow guidelines for driving company branded vehicles, including all safety guidelines
• Be aware of your surroundings, keeping hands on the steering wheel at all times and eyes on the road. No phone zone.
• Capable of checking orders in complete and timely manner to ensure correct products have been prepared for delivery. 
• Opening all orders before prepping to take locals out for delivery, checking the order slip to ensure all products match up by UPC, size and color.
• Willingness to be cross trained to work in all parts of the Inventory Control department. 
• Adapt to learning all jobs and responsibilities of a warehouse employee, receiving, tagging, scanning, transferring products…etc
• Willingness to help train and explain driver responsibilities to all future drivers 
• Showing other team members how to properly complete the DRIVERS DAILY.docx checklist and explain in detail
• Always give the best customer service, be a helping hand anytime and every time it’s needed.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks at all locations, stores and warehouses.

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Ensure accuracy by using the PP spreadsheet and barcode scanning guns when receiving overseas goods.
• Adhere to all customer interaction guidelines (in-person, via text, email, or phone) while delivering top-tier service and offering a helping hand whenever needed.
• Ensure that all planned deliveries are completed on time, to the correct customers, and with a high level of professionalism, always meeting customer satisfaction.
• Utilize Google Maps for efficient routing, track delivery progress, and document each delivery by taking pictures of the order slip for a complete paper trail.
