The Semiconductor Tool Install Piping / Mechanical CAD Designer serves as the Architectural and Engineering firm representative supporting design coordination and technical execution for tool installation scopes within semiconductor manufacturing environments. This role focuses on developing and refining detailed mechanical and piping design packages while ensuring alignment with project requirements, constructability, and design standards.
The Designer works closely with engineering teams, project stakeholders, and field personnel to deliver accurate, coordinated, and high‑quality design solutions that support successful installation and commissioning.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in engineering or architectural fields preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD required
- Experience with Revit, Navisworks, PIPEFLO, or similar platforms preferred
- Demonstrated experience with HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, pump hydraulics, exhaust systems, process chemicals, wastewater discharge, or similar mechanical systems
- Experience in semiconductor tool install, semiconductor, cleanroom, or industrial project environments
- Represent the Engineer of Record and design team on semiconductor tool installation scopes
- Develop technical plans, specifications, drawings, and models aligned with project requirements
- Lead design for piping, plumbing, HVAC ducting, chillers, boilers, exhaust systems, motor control systems, process chemicals, and fire protection systems
- Design HVAC systems to maintain temperature, humidity, filtration, and particle control within required tolerances
- Apply design standards and engineering judgment while maintaining CAD and QC compliance
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve design challenges
- Coordinate across Electrical, Structural, Process/Chemical, and Architectural disciplines
- Perform field verifications and site assessments to validate conditions and support construction execution
- Incorporate field feedback, troubleshooting results, and installation constraints into design packages
