What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line cooks - up to $22/hr. position at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli?
Morning kitchen shifts available. Full or part time Pay is Base pay of $17/hr. Tips ($5 - $7 avg) Total pay will be $22 -$24/hr. We are looking for friendly, well organized and energetic individuals to join our day time kitchen crew. Prep vegetables and deli meats, make sandwiches and salads, restock lines, menu prep, and light dishwashing. We offer medical and dental benefits as well as profit sharing once qualified. Paid for by Kalapawai Cafe and Deli Kaiser Permanente
Requirements/Responsibilities
All of our kitchen positions require:
-Availability to work mornings, weekends and holidays
-Basic knife skills are a bonus but we are willing to train
-Daily kitchen prep for both lunch and dinner services
-General cleaning and facilities maintenance
-Ability to work in a team in a very fast paced environment
-Adhere to chef's recipes and preferred cooking techniques
-Food safety and sanitation is key!
