What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day & Night Kitchen Workers $17-$18/hr+tips 401K + Benefits position at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli?
We are looking for line cooks / sandwich makers for our breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Cook $17/hr. - $18/hr Tips $4 - $6/hr avg (Totaling $21 - $24) Must work weekends and holidays no exceptions. Looking for hard working, energetic, enthusiastic people looking to make the restaurant industry their career. We offer medical, vision & dental when eligible.
Requirements/Responsibilities
All of our kitchen positions require:
-Excellent customer service skills (it's an open kitchen and customers will ask questions)
-Prompt attendance
-Availability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends and holidays
-Must be clean, well organized and able to move from station to station efficiently
-Basic knife skills are recommended but we are willing to train
-Daily kitchen prep for breakfast, lunch and dinner services
-General cleaning, dish washing and facilities maintenance
-Hood cleaning, fryer cleaning and stainless polishing
-Other duties as assigned from time to time
-Ability to work in a very faced paced environment
-Adhere to chef's recipes and company policies
-Food safety and sanitation are musts!!!!
-Valid TB test and proof of Hep A vaccination are required to the extent that law permits
