What You’ll Do
- Provide expert maintenance and repair services for food service equipment, refrigeration systems, and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues quickly, often in active kitchen environments with time constraints.
- Service hot-side equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, grills) and cold-side refrigeration units (walk-in coolers, reach-in coolers, freezers).
- Accurately complete required documentation and communicate effectively with clients.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area—even in challenging conditions.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and lifts as needed.
- Mentor apprentices and share best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Web-based digital work order system.
- Specialized experience with commercial food service equipment (hot-side and cold-side) and refrigeration systems.
- Solid understanding of standard, light-commercial HVAC systems—RTUs, furnaces, AC units, make-up air equipment, water heaters, exhaust fans, etc.
- Minimum 5 years of field experience in service and repair.
- Ability to work in active kitchen environments—comfortable with grease, heat, and tight spaces.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a self-motivated, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications.
- Safety-conscious with a clean driving record.
- Exceptional work ethic and reliability.
