Licensed Pharmacist - Part Time

Princing's Pharmacy is looking for a PT Pharmacist to assist with clinical work with the LTC customers including some on-Call hours but also would like to spend some time in the traditional retail setting as well.Dispense drugs prescribed by healthcare providers and provide information to patients about medications and their usePerforms pharmaceutical patient assessment (initial and reassessments).Develop plans to manage the patient's pharmaceutical care and executes the care plan.Plan, implement, or maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, or labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.Provides pharmaceutical services related to the preparation and dispensing of drugs and other pharmaceutical supplies to patients at home.Maintain rapport with ordering physicians. Inform the physicians and pertinent others of the changes in the patient's condition/status. Promote rational drug therapy to physicians.Perform pharmaceutical assessments and reassessments, creating and executing plans to manage the pharmaceutical care of home care patients according to Company policy.Assemble, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipmentAssist in resolving patient equipment problems under emergency conditions.Develop technical knowledge of the products/services provided by the pharmacy and be able to provide information of same to others upon request.Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy.Monitor pharmaceutical supply levels and place appropriate orders.
