Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to long-term care residents
- Perform medication reviews and therapeutic consultations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee dispensing accuracy and provide clinical oversight
- Utilize electronic health records for documentation and communication
- Support and direct pharmacy technicians and staff as needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- PharmD degree from an accredited program
- Active Pharmacist License (required, from Michigan)
- Active Controlle Substance License (required, from Michigan)
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance
- Clinical knowledge with a focus on geriatric populations
- Experience with pharmacy systems (Framework preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
