Offensive Coordinator-An offensive lacrosse coach (or offensive coordinator) designs the team's offensive game plan, develops playbooks, and runs positional drills for attackmen and midfielders. They analyze game film to provide individualized player feedback and prepare scouting reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Skill Development: Run focused drills on dodging, shooting on the run, inside finishing, and off-ball movement.
- Playbook Design: Create, implement, and update offensive playbooks and game strategies.
- Film & Analytics: Break down game footage to correct player mistakes and scout upcoming opponent defenses.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the head coach and defensive coordinator to ensure cohesive, two-way team strategies.
- Mentorship: Promote positive sportsmanship, high lacrosse IQ, and student-athlete academic success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Prior coaching or collegiate playing experience at the youth, high school, or college level.
- Lacrosse IQ: Deep understanding of modern offensive spacing, transition play, and player development.
- Availability: Strong commitment to evening practices and weekend game schedules.
Pay: $5,000.00 - $5,500.00 per year
