Kalamazoo Cleaners LLC supports a high-volume short-term rental portfolio across the Kalamazoo area. We're hiring a detail-oriented Bedroom Cleaner to join our cleaning team.

*What You'll Do*
- Meet the team at the property at 10:15 AM on turn days
- Strip all beds and prep dirty linens for laundry pickup
- Clean bedrooms to hospitality standard — dust, surfaces, mirrors, floors, closets, under beds
- Remake every bed with clean, pre-bagged linen sets to our staging standard
- Report any damage, stains, or missing items to the office same day
- Once bedrooms are finished, jump in with the team to help complete common areas

*Schedule*
- Shifts start at 10:15 AM sharp on turn days and always wrap by 4:00 PM
- You will likely not work every day — turn days vary with booking volume
- Typical week: ~10-15 hours
- Sunday availability required — it's our busiest day
- Daytime only. No evenings, no overnights.

*Requirements*
- 18 with a valid Michigan driver's license and your own reliable, insured vehicle. Our properties are concentrated between Kalamazoo and Portage — short routes.
- Must pass a background check — you'll have access to guest properties
- Smartphone required — scheduling and coordination run through text and GroupMe
- Physically able to make beds repeatedly, lift and move mattresses and linens, and navigate stairs
- High personal standard for cleanliness
- Punctual, dependable, and a strong team player

*Compensation & Perks*
- $20/hr, W-2 employee
- Paid weekly via direct deposit through ADP

• This is a physically active role - you'll be on your feet, moving quickly, and cleaning multiple properties back-to-back. Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment for several hours at a time?
• Our properties are among the highest-rated in Southwest Michigan. Walk us through how you'd make a guest bedroom guest-ready - what do you check that most people miss?
• Not all of our homes are on the bus line, so relying on public transportation is not an option for this role. You'll also be cleaning multiple homes a day, so relying on a ride is also not an option for this role. Do you have access to your own reliable vehicle to reach properties in Kalamazoo and Portage?
• This role averages 10-15 hours per week. Does that work for your current financial needs?
• Guests check out on different days every week, and our schedule is 100% dependent upon guest check out dates. Are you able to work a different schedule every week?
