What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concessions Manager position at Kalama School District 402?

HOURS: Approximately 200 hours/year, mostly evenings/after school (includes about 70 extra-curricular events throughout the year)
RATE OF PAY: $18.88 - $21.52/hour (DOE)
LOCATION: Kalama School District, Kalama, Washington
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The applicant will be responsible for the safe operation of concessions facilities during extra-curricular events
- Arrive one hour before the event start time
- Open concessions 30 minutes before start time and make sure the concessions facility is clean before releasing concession workers after the event
- Count inventory and order supplies to restock as needed
- The school will be responsible for assigning students to each event
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a food handler\'s card upon hire
- Must pass a State and Federal background check
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules. Ability to speak effectively to administration, staff, students and parents.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Skills in reading, understanding and following safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with students and staff.
- Ability to perform duties with awareness of District requirements and Board policies
- Ability to work independently and to communicate proactively
