Overnight Shift Pool Cleaner
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Overnight Shift Pool Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all pools and spas, ensuring they remain clean and in proper working conditions.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll create a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for guests and associates throughout the resort. By maintaining the pools and spas to the highest standards, you’ll help ensure a positive and relaxing experience for everyone using the facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep pools free of sand, trash, and other debris; scrubbing pool tiles; inspecting all pool and spa areas and equipment; monitoring water levels; and removing stains from pools and spas.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper operation.
- Understand operating instructions, hazardous material warnings, and maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies such as Gas and/or Electric Power Washers, Floor Scrubbers, Mops/Buckets, Gas mask, Muriatic acid, and bleach.
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, safety guidelines and training programs for all waterpark venues.
- Assist other Overnight Staff as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be able to frequently work in outdoor hot/humid/sunny weather conditions as well as indoor warm/humid environments.
- Previous cleaning positions in a large waterpark, recreational facility, or hotel/resort is helpful.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds of force, and/or frequently move up to 20 pounds of force, or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
