Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sr. Mulesoft Certified Engineer at Kaizen Technology Solutions. The Sr. Mulesoft Engineer will design, implement, and maintain integration solutions using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform to connect Salesforce and other enterprise systems. Responsibilities include gathering integration requirements, translating them into technical designs, building APIs, data transformations, and integration flows, and ensuring solutions are secure, performant, and highly available. The role involves troubleshooting complex integration issues, performing code reviews, optimizing existing integrations, and maintaining documentation and best practices. The Sr. Engineer will collaborate closely with Salesforce consultants, architects, and client stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including API-led connectivity, RAML/API design, DataWeave, and integration best practices.
- Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with third-party and on-premise systems using REST, SOAP, message queues, and event-driven patterns.
- Proficiency in designing secure, scalable, and reusable integration architectures, including error handling, logging, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices concepts, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Competence with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and configuration management in an agile development environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose complex integration issues across distributed systems.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mulesoft certifications (e.g., MCD – Level 1 or higher) required; Salesforce integration experience and relevant Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience mentoring other engineers and contributing to technical standards, coding guidelines, and knowledge sharing is highly desirable.
