Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in modern data platform technologies including Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Python, Power BI, and Azure OpenAI. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions to support enterprise-wide reporting, AI, and data integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities.
Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines using ADF, Synapse Pipelines, and Fabric Dataflows.
Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures on Azure.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations in SQL Server and Synapse SQL Pools.
Implement data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration solutions using Python and Azure services.
Manage and optimize Azure Storage solutions (ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage).
Leverage Power BI and Fabric for data modeling, dataset creation, and dashboard/report development.
Integrate and utilize Azure OpenAI for data enrichment, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics where applicable.
Ensure data quality, data governance, and security best practices across the data lifecycle.
Troubleshoot data pipeline issues, optimize performance, and support production workloads.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
