Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full-time Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy, optimizing our processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all required tasks
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions
  • Manage cash flow and treasury operations, including cash forecasting, investment management, and banking relationships
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership, including analysis of financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Manage and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools, with a focus on leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve reporting capabilities
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and KPIs specific to the SaaS industry, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, including SEC filings if applicable
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, and financial institutions
  • Lead special projects and initiatives as needed to support the company's financial objectives and strategic goals

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a controller or senior financial management role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Extensive experience with financial systems and software, including ERP systems and financial planning and analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem
