Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role located in Knoxville, TN, for an Independent Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling medical devices to healthcare professionals and organizations within the assigned territory. Primary responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, providing product demonstrations, and offering post-sales support. The role also involves staying updated on market trends, addressing client needs, and collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and client engagement skills
- Knowledge of medical devices, healthcare practices, or related technical expertise
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to strategize and analyze market trends to identify opportunities
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Willingness to travel within the Knoxville, TN territory and surrounding regions as required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience in medical device sales is a plus
