2nd SHIFT EXTRUSION LINE TECHNICIAN – NOW HIRING (FULL TIME)

We’re looking for a hands-on 2nd Shift Line Technician who takes pride in doing it right. If you know your way around thermoplastics, line setup, and quality checks — this is a solid opportunity with real stability, steady hours, and room to move up.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and run extrusion lines to produce plastic cylinders/profiles to spec
- Install/change extrusion heads, dies, pins, sizing sleeves, screens, and screws
- Start up, dial in temps, set dryers, change resin, and shut down lines safely
- Perform in-process quality checks:
- Visually inspect parts for defects
- Measure and record dimensions using calipers, tape measure, and Go / No-Go rods
- Make adjustments to keep everything in spec
- Stage and mix raw materials and manage material feed systems
- Spot issues in materials/equipment and correct them before they become downtime
- Train/lead lower-grade machine tenders on proper extrusion line operation
- Keep accurate production and setup records/data sheets
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating extrusion equipment in a plastics environment is preferred
- Strong mechanical ability — you can make adjustments, not just run a machine
- Able to read work orders and blueprints
- Comfortable tracking measurements and documenting production
- Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
