Job Summary:
Kaizen is seeking a results-driven Coach to deliver high-level personal training, semi-private coaching, client assessments, and customized programming within a fast-paced, high-energy fitness environment. This role is responsible for driving client results through intentional coaching, accountability, and elevated member experience while embodying Kaizen’s culture of continuous improvement, purpose-driven coaching, and excellence. The ideal candidate builds strong client relationships, supports retention, and creates transformational experiences from consultation through long-term progress.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver exceptional personal training and semi-private coaching sessions
- Perform client assessments, consultations, movement screens, and goal reviews
- Design customized training programs based on client goals, lifestyle, and progress
- Track client performance, body composition, habits, and transformation milestones
- Maintain weekly accountability check-ins and consistent progress follow-ups
- Build strong client relationships that improve retention and long-term adherence
- Modify programming based on injuries, plateaus, and lifestyle factors
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue quotas, package sales goals, and client retention KPIs
- Conduct assessments, consultations and confidently sell Kaizen training packages, memberships, and coaching services
- Recruit and build a personal client roster through networking, referrals, social media, community outreach, and personal brand visibility
- Convert assessments, consultations, and trial sessions into long-term coaching clients
- Support gym events, workshops, bootcamps, and community activations
- Collaborate with leadership on client success strategies, retention, and studio growth
- Uphold studio cleanliness, organization, and premium member experience
- Represent Kaizen with confidence, professionalism, elevated energy, and a results-driven mindset
Qualification and Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- Personal training or strength coaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of exercise programming, form correction, and movement mechanics
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to coach clients of varying fitness levels
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven gym environment
- Passion for health, fitness, mindset, and personal development
- Sales, assessments, consultation, and client retention experience is a plus
Education and certification:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current nationally recognized CPT certification required
- CPR/AED certification required
Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
