Operations Supervisor

Overview

This position will assist leadership in the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property, coordinate work schedules for staff, assign work orders, projects, and preventive maintenance tasks; inventory, maintain, and order parts; follow up on assigned work, review daily work logs, and work with the crew as required. On own and with the help of the entire staff: gather, collect, and solicit work, tasks, repair items, and work orders; sort and prioritize the information; make sure the required parts and materials are available and if not, requisition and order them. Perform maintenance tasks, general maintenance, complete assigned work and help in the maintenance and repairs of all areas of the property.

Responsibilities

• Working as and building a team through effectively communicating with management, guest services and other team members to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by owners, members, and vacation renters.
• Troubleshoot equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner.
• Perform assignments as directed by the Property Manager.
• Assume the duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance, electrical, painting, pool and spa maintenance, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Repair all malfunctioning mechanical devices.
• Respond to owner & renter in-unit requests regarding carpentry, electrical, plumbing, carpeting, painting, and furniture repair/refinishing.
• Flexible schedule – available to work morning, afternoon and evenings, weekdays, and weekends as well as holidays
• Perform housekeeping inspections and other tasks or projects assigned by the Property Manager.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
