We are seeking a full-time Operating Room Nurse to join our dedicated team at our Riverside, CA location. This on-site role involves preparing operating rooms, monitoring patients during surgical procedures, and collaborating with surgeons and medical staff to ensure safe and efficient operations. The nurse will also be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, providing post-operative care, and educating patients and their families.
- Strong clinical nursing skills, with specific experience in operating room procedures
- Proficiency in patient care, pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures
- Ability to monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient conditions during surgical interventions
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection prevention standards, and surgical instrumentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Previous operating room or perioperative experience is highly preferred
- BSN degree or enrollment in a BSN program (preferred)
