Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Clackamas, OR, for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Charge Nurse at Kaiser Permanente. The NICU Charge Nurse will oversee patient care delivery and nursing operations in the unit, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards. Responsibilities include coordinating nursing staff, managing patient flows and assignments, providing leadership and support to the team, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. The Charge Nurse will also act as a resource for high-acuity cases and assist in patient and family education.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 18 months NICU experience in the last 5 years.
- Nicu Charge experience
- Level 3 Nicu or higher required
