Job Summary:
Under immediate supervision, performs basic clerical duties in accordance with established guidelines and procedures while gaining exposure to various health care careers and department functions throughout the organization, depending on interns role.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Uses computer-based programs, copy machine, calculator, and other related standard office equipment to type letters, reports, correspondence, and forms.
- Performs data entry to prepared spreadsheets, compiles, and files records. -Answers telephone inquiries and delivers messages.
- Sorts and delivers departmental mail. -Maintains and stocks department office supplies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
