In-Home Care Provider-Part Time- Corydon

DUTIES: may include but not limited to:

· General housekeeping and home management, including laundry, shopping and errands based on client need and preference.

· Meal preparation in accordance with dietary and cultural needs as well as client preference.

· Maintaining a safe healthy environment for the client

· Assistance with personal hygiene, including assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming and dressing

Assist with transfers and ambulation

· Mobility assistance

· Assistance in accessing community events

· Socialization within the community

· Providing compassionate empathetic care to clients

· Maintaining required state and agency documentation

· Assist with medication reminders or prescription refilling at the pharmacy

Must maintain all training and credentialing requirements as outlined by guidelines

· Must maintain a schedule up to 40 hours per week

· Clock in and out of automotive time keeping system

· Complete daily electronic verification accurately including client signature

· Represent Kaiser Home Support Services in a professional manner in various community settings

· Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· 18 years of age or older

· Driver’s license and properly insured vehicle

· Pass a criminal background check and drug screen (including random drug screen)

· Ability to meet physical requirements of position including standing, walking, pushing and pulling, balancing, carrying, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, reading comprehension, speaking and listening, lifting up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to keep accurate records and documentation

· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving skills

· Self-motivated, able to work effectively with minimal supervision

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Monday: 10AM-5PM Wednesday: 10AM-3:20PM Friday: 10AM-5PM

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
