Quality Control Technician – Kaiser Auto (La Porte, IN)
Kaiser Auto is hiring a Quality Control Technician for our La Porte locations. This role is responsible for making sure every vehicle leaves our shop safe, complete, and ready for the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform final quality checks on vehicles after service and repairs
- Test drive vehicles to verify all concerns are resolved
- Check for warning lights, noises, leaks, and overall drivability
- Maintain and manage our loaner vehicle fleet (cleanliness, fuel, condition)
- Pick up parts and assist with general shop support as needed
- Help ensure vehicles move smoothly through the shop process
Requirements:
- Automotive experience preferred (technician or shop experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
