What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Managing Principal to lead a dedicated project team from planning through construction
- Help manage and guide team members, providing mentorship and technical direction
- Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee design deliverables and construction documents for quality and coordination
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with design intent
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate structural systems based on project needs
- Identify and resolve technical and project challenges proactively
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred
- Hawaii PE license (or ability to obtain)
- 8–12 years of experience in building design and/or project management
- Strong background across building types and structural systems
- Proven ability to manage projects and mentor team members
- Experience with tools such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM, or similar
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
