Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. Experience in grocery stores or retail environments, along with familiarity with POS systems and merchandising, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities
- Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support supervising staff with training or overseeing daily store operations when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, grocery stores, or similar environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers
- Supervising experience is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
