The Sales Porter plays a vital role in supporting the sales department by ensuring all vehicle logistics and presentation standards are met with excellence. This fast-paced position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication, and a team-oriented attitude. Sales Porters are integral members of our dealership team and contribute directly to the efficiency and success of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all demo and showroom vehicles are showroom-ready (clean inside and out, fueled, properly parked, and accurately positioned)
• Retrieve vehicles from inventory and prepare them for sales consultants or client demonstrations
• Maintain fuel levels for all demo vehicles and replenish as needed
• Wash and detail vehicles as required
• Transport vehicles to and from the make-ready department, service, or off-site locations
• Support the sales team with all vehicle-related logistics and staging needs
• Accurately manage vehicle keys and ensure proper tracking
• Maintain orderly presentation and organization of vehicles on the lot, showroom, and designated storage areas
• Assist with physical inventory counts and data verification of vehicle assets
• Participate in weekly department meetings and contribute to overall team success
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required; one to two years of related experience or training preferred
• Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet insurability requirements; ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions is preferred
• Team Player: Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, a customer-first mindset, and a willingness to assist others
• Detail-Oriented: Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates pride in keeping vehicles presentation-ready
• Adaptable: Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the dealership property
• Regularly required to use hands, reach, talk, and hear
• Occasionally required to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
