- High school diploma or GED
- Although equivalent education/experience will be considered, ideally you have 3 years or more of relevant experience and/or training
- Operator Driver’s License
- Solid skills and a strong work ethic
- Perform advanced diagnostics and heavy line repair
- Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
- Provide labor estimates and communicate additional service requests to the Service Advisor
- Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman
- Monitor repair time and update service advisor
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
- Assist in mentoring technician trainees
- Attend company and factory training and keep current with factory technical bulletins
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
