Inside Parts Counter Salesperson - Bluebonnet Ford Lincoln
We are seeking a professional Inside Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. This role is essential to the efficient operation of our parts department, serving both internal service technicians and retail customers by providing timely and accurate parts support.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts
- Answer phone inquiries and process parts orders promptly and accurately
- Check parts availability, provide pricing, and communicate estimated delivery times
- Prepare parts for pick-up or delivery and ensure all documentation is complete
- Maintain organized stock levels, including restocking shelves and managing backorders
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely parts delivery for repair jobs
- Process returns and warranty claims in accordance with dealership and manufacturer policies
- Utilize parts catalog systems and dealership software to ensure accuracy of orders
- Participate in regular inventory counts and ensure proper labeling of parts
- Maintain a clean and orderly parts counter and work area
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two to three years of experience in FORD automotive parts sales preferred
- Familiarity with parts catalog software and dealership management systems is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License (must be insurable)
