Position Overview

This individual is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our facilities—both inside and out. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean, polished, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs across all areas of the dealership, including showroom, service drive, offices, and guest lounges
• Address work orders promptly with a sense of urgency and professionalism
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues
• Maintain lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, and dealership equipment to ensure seamless operations
  
  

Luxury Presentation & Grounds Upkeep

• Ensure all interior and exterior spaces consistently meet North Park Lexus’s luxury presentation standards
• Maintain pristine condition of parking lots, walkways, landscaping, and vehicle display areas
• Assist with pressure washing, minor landscaping, and seasonal enhancements
• Support showroom and event readiness, ensuring spaces are visually impeccable at all times
  
  

Preventative Maintenance

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance programs to protect facility assets and minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate logs of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Proactively identify and communicate opportunities for facility improvements
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all OSHA and company safety standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and employees
• Properly handle, store, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
• Assist with emergency facility needs and safety response protocols as required
  
  

Team Collaboration & Event Support

• Partner with Sales, Service, and Leadership teams to support daily operations and elevated guest experiences
• Assist with setup and breakdown for dealership events, activations, and community engagements
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized repairs and projects when needed
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of facilities maintenance, handyman, or related experience (automotive or luxury retail environment preferred)
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
• High attention to detail with pride in quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
