We are seeking to hire a Physical Therapist - Part-Time
Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited College or University.
- IA License and current registration as a Therapist (Should be a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.)
- One year of clinical experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
Physical Therapist Job Summary:
- Perform evaluations, design treatment plans and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Supervise professional and non-professional physical therapy staff.
- Assign case load and other related tasks to physical therapy staff.
- Coordinate physical therapy program with other services for assigned residents.
- Complete required documentation for residents’ medical records.
- Record daily attendance for statistical record keeping.
- Schedule daily treatments.
- Participate in In-Service Education program.
- Provide recommendations to Restorative Nursing Staff.
