Job-Type: Full-Time (40 hours)

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred. Candidates with open availability will be prioritized for next steps.

This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).

Fish Cutters are responsible but are not limited to the below:

• ensuring the seafood cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for our customers
• receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, price, and attractively merchandise seafood department products
• proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness and availability, while minimizing waste
• attend the service case
• assist customers with special requests, and answer questions about our seafood products
• help increase sales by offering product samples and by recommending additional items.
• Fish cutters work with equipment like wrapping machines and knives.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 75 pounds
• Must successfully pass apprentice/training program (applies to apprentice only)
• Must have TB Clearance
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
