Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, mixers, and other appliances
• Handle food safely and hygienically during preparation, storage, and service, following all food handling regulations
• Participate in manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment to support kitchen operations
• Follow all kitchen health and safety standards diligently to create a safe working environment for everyone

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during busy service hours
• Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper food handling techniques
• Experience with catering or banquet services is a plus, demonstrating versatility in different food service settings
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly under pressure

Pay: $22.17 - $26.70 per hour
