What are the responsibilities and job description for the Semi-Truck Driver | Home at Night position at Kafka Granite LLC?
Drives semi truck with rock tub to transport raw material from Kafka quarries to crushing facility or deliver product to customers. Must be able to safely and efficiently maneuver vehicle, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Must be able to operate front-end loader to load your own truck, as needed. Must be able to make minor repairs to vehicle and trailer as needed, or assist company mechanics as needed. Must be careful and considerate to maintain clean and functional equipment. Must be able to work year round in all weather conditions. Must be willing to drive other trucks, including but not limited to semi-trucks for mulch hauls and dump trucks.
All truck drivers are required to have a Class-A CDL and a clean driving record upon hire.
Principal duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining a general knowledge and understanding of Kafka Granite’s procedures and safety precautions.
- Driving truck year round, in various weather conditions, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operating front-end loader to load material into truck.
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance to truck, trailer, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintaining a valid Class-A CDL license.
Full-time positions available. Experience driving semi-truck with rock tub and a current Class-A CDL license are required. Generous benefit packages available for full-time employees! $2,000 retention bonus after the first 6 months.
