Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Homemaker role based in Chicago, IL. The Homemaker will assist clients with daily household tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and errands to ensure a safe and clean living environment. Additional responsibilities include supporting clients with non-medical services to enhance their comfort and quality of life, observing and reporting any changes in clients' conditions, and maintaining open communication with the care team.
Qualifications
- Organizational skills and the ability to perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building positive client relationships.
- Ability to handle errands and assist with general household management tasks.
- Attention to detail and the ability to recognize and report changes in the client’s condition.
- Reliability, compassion, and a patient demeanor when supporting clients.
- Previous experience in home care or assisting individuals is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in caregiving is advantageous.
