Kadlec Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler II to join our growing Physical Therapy Spaulding team located in Richland, WA!
Shift Details : Full time,1.0 ,Day-Shift
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Two (2) years of General office experience which includes public interaction experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
- Experience with improving customer flow within a hospital or large physician practice
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Scheduler II you will perform a variety of office scheduling functions and related tasks as assigned. This position may require floating to other positions within the Healthplex on a short term basis relative to absences, etc.
- Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct
- Manage patient lists/queues in computer system relative to scheduling process
- Assist with audit of patient records for regulatory compliance, including charges as appropriate
- Receive, greet and direct patients or visitors with tact and courtesy
- Communicate with focus on customer
- Schedule routine and new patient appointments with necessary resources, including canceling or rescheduling of existing appointments, both by phone and in person
- Enter new and existing patient referrals into the computer
- Communicate and coordinates with Healthplex providers as well as referring providers as appropriate to ensure provision of care within regulatory guidelines
- Maintain patient medical records and verifies accuracy
- Manage patient lists/queues in computer system relative to scheduling process
- Assist with other Healthplex staff and Schedulers as needed to promote optimal patient access
- Assist with audit of patient records for regulatory compliance, including charges as appropriate
- Answer/resolve questions in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer the telephone, checks voicemails, takes messages and/or refers calls to appropriate personnel
- Operate standard office equipment such as a computer and multi-function devices with efficiency
- Work well in a multi-departmental setting, with frequent interactions involving services such as Central Scheduling, Interpreters, Patient Financial Services, etc.
- Adhere to all Kadlec standard policies and procedures related to infection control, fire and safety, human resources, and clinic procedures
