Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, portion control guidelines, and dietary requirements
- Ensure food is prepared to be both nutritious and visually appealing
- Follow therapeutic diet plans and special meal instructions accurately
- Support tray line service and ensure residents receive correct meals and proper utensils
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all food service regulations and facility policies
- Monitor food quality and report any issues to the Dietary Manager
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or food service setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines
- Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary restrictions accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
