About the Role:
As a Certified Activities Director at Kadima at Palmyra, you will be responsible for:
Planning, organizing, and implementing a wide range of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents
Coordinating with residents, families, and staff to ensure that activities align with the facility's mission and goals
Developing and implementing programs that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity
Establishing and maintaining relationships with community organizations and vendors to provide a diverse range of activities and events
Maintaining accurate records of activities and participating in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Must possess or be able to obtain an APC (Activities Professional Certified) or ADC (Activities Director Certified) certification through NCCAP
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
