Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers, including brake systems, suspensions, air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, assembly, and modifications to trailers or related equipment.
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repair processes.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding and torch cutting equipment, and specialized diagnostic devices to complete repairs accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment repair with a strong mechanical background.
- Familiarity with diagnostics, and electrical systems, hydraulics, suspension systems air systems and sub frame assemblies.
- Hands-on experience with fabricating using welding or cutting tools; ability to read schematics effectively.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts and lift platforms is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; comfortable working in a shop environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Pay: $19.00 - $35.00 per hour
