Role Overview
Kader Property Management is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across a residential portfolio while supporting unit turns, renovations, and capital projects.
This role combines traditional property management responsibilities with hands-on project coordination and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily property operations, including leasing, resident communication, and inspections
- Serve as primary point of contact for owners and residents
- Oversee rent collection, lease enforcement, and compliance processes
- Drive occupancy and retention through leasing strategy and resident experience
- Plan and oversee unit turns and capital improvement projects
- Coordinate vendors and internal teams to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Obtain estimates, present scopes of work, and secure owner approvals
- Monitor financial performance, including expenses and property-level budgets
- Maintain accurate records and reporting across the portfolio
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
- Support field operations, including site visits, lockboxes, signage, and equipment
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in property management, leasing, or a related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both tenant and owner interactions
- Proficiency with Gmail, spreadsheets, and property management technology in daily workflows
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities independently
- Wisconsin Real Estate Salesperson License is a plus, but not required
- AppFolio experience highly desired (or experience with similar property management software)
