We’re supporting a team developing breakthrough wearable neurotechnology designed to detect and anticipate critical neurological events before they occur. The goal is to enable proactive intervention and improve quality of life for individuals with conditions that are not well managed by current treatment options.
As a Founding Engineer, you’ll work across software, hardware, and signal processing to help build and refine the core system. You’ll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, guide key technical decisions, and ensure the device meets performance, safety, and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test next-generation wearable neurotech hardware and software
- Integrate embedded systems, sensors, and data processing pipelines
- Analyze physiological and neural data to optimize detection performance
- Support regulatory documentation and compliance efforts
- Troubleshoot issues across the full stack
- Influence technical strategy as part of the founding engineering team
Qualifications
- Experience with software development, hardware integration, and data analysis
- Proficiency with tools and languages used in embedded or wearable systems
- Understanding of electrical engineering, signal processing, or biosensing technologies
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to take ownership and lead technical initiatives
- Experience in regulated or medical-adjacent industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
