Primary Job Duties:
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates all maintenance activities within the facility. This includes supervising maintenance staff, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment, and maintaining the facility's infrastructure. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as proficiency in programming and editing programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Take a hands-on approach to leading a small team of maintenance workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
3. Schedule and assign maintenance tasks based on priority and urgency, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
4. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, including programming and editing PLCs.
5. Oversee the maintenance of the facility's infrastructure, including buildings, grounds, and utilities.
6. Manage the procurement and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory levels.
8. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
9. Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance projects.
10. Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
11. Put together project budgets and timelines for needed machine repairs and planed machinery upgrades. Oversee the implementation of said projects from conception through competition.
Job Specifications and Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role.
2. In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
3. Proficiency in programming and editing programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Ability to operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 100 pounds.
11. Proficiency in using computer software for maintenance management and reporting
