Kabuki Hawaii is looking for experienced, dependable, and hardworking Line Cooks to join our growing kitchen team!
Serving Hawaii since 1961, Kabuki is known for its traditional local-style Japanese food and okazuya favorites. We're looking for cooks who take pride in preparing quality food, work well with others, and can keep up with a fast-paced kitchen.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Assist with daily food preparation and high-volume production
- Ensure food is prepared on time and ready for daily service
- Properly prepare, portion, and store ingredients
- Monitor food temperatures and maintain food safety standards
- Keep cooking stations clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow proper food rotation and FIFO procedures
- Minimize food waste while maintaining quality
- Assist with inventory and receiving deliveries when needed
- Clean and sanitize cooking equipment and work areas
- Work closely with other cooks and kitchen staff
- Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred
- Experience preparing local Hawaii, Japanese, or okazuya-style food is a plus
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Good knife skills and basic cooking knowledge
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to follow recipes and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and food quality
- Willing to help coworkers and work as a team
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Available for early morning shifts
